
It’s really no secret that there are a multitude of issues that need to be addressed in the United States, such as growing wealth disparity, racial inequality, and the exorbitant cost of healthcare, for starters. But for all of the problems that American citizens face, we have to take a moment to appreciate some of the freedoms we have that citizens of other countries do not. Based on data provided by World Population Review and Freedom House, we ranked the world’s least free countries using metrics like human and economic freedom, political rights, and civil liberties.
Now without further ado, these are the world’s most restrictive countries.
