Easter Island's Moai Statues
You’ve probably seen images of the unique and impressive statues sitting on Easter Island, located in Polynesia. These giant statues, which are known as Moai, are manmade and date to somewhere between 1250 AD and 1500 AD.
These statues sit lined up, and have a count of almost 900! It’s apparent that they were moved to their locations, which is remarkable because of their weight.
