It should come as no surprise that given enough time, geographic isolation, and various other factors, two places will have vastly different cultures. You might agree that the sport of baseball, the sweet taste of apple pie, and the Statue of Liberty are three de-facto symbols of American culture. In India, these signs might be replaced by the sacred worship of the buffalo and elephant, the importance of gold, and the proliferation of the Hindu temple. However, what about the lesser-known and more exotic facets of Indian culture that are never mentioned in mass media? Well, we wanted to take a look and share what we found.
